1st of April, 2016 launched a UK wide Health Research Authority (HRA) approval process, which will replace existing R&D Permissions system previously in place. There will be more detailed emphasis for individual NHS organisations to engage in feasibility assessment of individual studies, and confirmation of ability to take part in the study will be sought as part of the process.

Where RNOH is the lead research site for a study, it is recommended that you contact the RIC office early for guidance and help with your application, we would also ask for a final review of your draft application before submission.
