Bolsover Street Outpatient Assessment Centre
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital has two outpatient departments: one located in Stanmore, Middlesex, and the other at Bolsover Street, central London. Information on admission or visiting the Stanmore site can be found here.
By public transport
The nearest tube station is Great Portland St station (Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City lines); approximately 2/3 minute walk away. Warren St. (Victoria Line & Northern Line) and Regents Park (Bakerloo line) tube stations are a short walk away.
Main Line train
Euston and Kings Cross are a short tube/bus/taxi ride away.
By car
Bolsover St does not provide parking facilities. The nearest car park is at the Regents Park Holiday Inn, or use the roadside meter parking. Please also note that Bolsover St is in the Congestion Zone and the Ultra Low Emission Zone. Please note, that for 10 days from 3 Aug, there will be limited access to the disabled parking bays outside Bolsover St. due to ongoing work to install fibre broadband network across London.
Please report to the reception desk. The receptionist will check you in, update your personal information and direct you to your specific clinic location. Each clinic has an allocated staff member, who will advise you further, in relation to tests that may be required prior to your consultation and of waiting times.
There is strict NO SMOKING policy at the RNOH.
Staff
The department is staffed by a team of registered nurses and clinical support workers.
Opening Times
Access to the building is available from 07.45 and the department closes at 19.45 (subject to activity)
Following your appointment
The doctor will give you a form to hand in at reception. If a follow-up appointment is required the receptionist can arrange it for you.
Imaging & Orthotics
The imaging and orthotics departments are located on the lower ground floor.
Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy
Located on the first floor. Patients specifically for these departments can proceed directly to the reception desks on the relevant floor.
Patient pagers
If your appointment is delayed we can offer you a pager and recall you when we are ready to see you.
Refreshments
A coffee bar serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks.
Television
A television is provided in each waiting area, which is used to relay information or show appropriate television programmes.
Play areas
The main play area is located on the lower ground floor. Please avail of a pager if you wish to wait with your children in this area.
Our aim is to provide the highest standard of care and see our patients in a timely manner. However, should you feel that we have not met your expectation you can speak to the Complaints (PALS) online. Alternatively, pick one up from the reception desk or ask a member of staff for one.
